Connect your peripherals and external drives to the GF75 Thin with a total of four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, three of which are Type-A and one Type-C. An HDMI port allows you to connect your device to an external monitor for additional screen real estate. Dual gold-plated audio jacks allow you to connect a microphone and headset to communicate while playing team-based games. Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology allows you to easily connect to wireless networks, and Bluetooth 5.1 enables you to use a wide range of wireless devices such as headphones and mice for a true cable-free experience. An RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port is also available if you prefer a wired connection.

High-Definition Display

The GF75 Thin includes a 17.3″ In-Plane Switching (IPS) 16:9 high-definition display, boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, giving you an enhanced experience across all of your favorite games. The 4-sided thin-bezel design gives you more screen with an 88% screen-to-body ratio for enhanced visuals in a compact form.

High-Definition Audio

Experience massive depth of sound with enhanced high-definition audio. Dual 2-watt on-board speakers produce high-quality sound, suitable for gaming or watching media. Nahimic audio technology provides in-game 3D surround sound while also giving you an array of additional controls for music, movies, and conference calls. Hi-Resolution Audio ensures you are immersed in your media with lossless music and premium sound quality.

Long-Lasting Battery

Experience up to 6-hours of battery life on a single charge, giving you more time to play or be productive without needing to immediately find an outlet.

Cool Boost 5

Enhanced thermal solutions for both the CPU and the GPU allow you to game for longer with maximum cooling efficiency during prolonged gaming sessions. Seven heat pipes dissipate heat and redirect hot air out of the back and sides of the GE75 Raider, promoting optimal airflow and keeping your system from experiencing damage from overheating.

Ample Controls

The GE75 Raider is equipped with a variety of software suites designed to enhance your productivity and allow you to fine-tune various aspects of your device. MSI’s exclusive Dragon Center software helps you control and customize your hardware, as well as provide you with various in-game overlays to assist you while you play. You can also record clips effortlessly, set gaming parameters, and even change your hardware settings while you are in your game, putting controls right at your fingertips.

Windows 10 Home

Start Menu

After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8’s Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.

Cortana

Microsoft’s digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.

Microsoft Edge

After nearly 20 years, Microsoft has finally replaced its Internet Explorer web browser. With Microsoft Edge, users can write directly on web pages and share notes with friends and colleagues. It also improves the online reading experience by adding a distraction-free mode and read-it-later functionality. Edge also has built-in Cortana integration; you can have her help you find a restaurant, make a reservation, and pull up directions without leaving your browser.

Windows Store

For Windows 10, Microsoft has unified the Windows Store. Now, apps for PCs, tablets, and phones will all be accessible from one place. And with support for Universal Apps, one version of an app can work across all your compatible devices automatically.

Windows Continuum

Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs. A Windows 10 tablet on its own requires a touch-centric approach, but attaching a mouse and keyboard will shift everything to a more traditional interface. You can even attach an external monitor to your Windows 10 phone for a near-desktop experience. But it’s not just the operating system; Windows Universal Apps take advantage of Continuum as well.

Xbox on Windows 10

Gaming is a big focus of Windows 10. Xbox integration allows for PC players to match up against Xbox One players on supported games, and if you have an Xbox One, you can even stream compatible titles to your PC. Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
