$5,999.00 $7,999.00

If you want a complete yet portable way to use a Pro Tools HDX anywhere, consider the Pro Tools | Ultimate, Thunderbolt 3, HDX Omni Rackmount Bundle from Avid.

First, the bundle offers a perpetual license for Pro Tools | Ultimate, the DAW many professional studios use to serve major artists. Next, you get the HD Omni Interface, a device with a plethora of connections for recording and monitoring. The HDX PCIe card provides the external DSP power that lets you run huge sessions without hiccups.

Finally, the unit offers the HDX Thunderbolt 3 Rackmount Chassis, which facilitates a Thunderbolt connection from the previously mentioned hardware to your computer. This rackmount chassis, fashioned in conjunction with Sonnet, accepts an HDX card. It also can sturdily house your Mac Mini computer. It takes up only 1 RU of rackmount space, and provides a USB 3.0 connection as well.

With these units in one bundle, you’ll have preamps, mic inputs, line inputs, instrument inputs, external DSP, and a way to port it all to your laptop if need be. Mount the HD Omni interface and the Thunderbolt 3 Chassis into a 2 RU rack, and you’ll have everything you need to take a Pro Tools HDX rig to any locale, from the stage to the studio, from your living room to the hotel.

Mix with Speed and Precision

From VCA Masters, Track Freeze, and professional metering, to the unrivaled ability to automate practically every element in your mix, Pro Tools | Ultimate makes the art of mixing music and soundtracks fast and easy. You can even explore alternative versions of a song or soundtrack with Project Revisions. Pro Tools | Ultimate allows you to mix in mono, stereo, 5.1/7.1 surround, and immersive audio.

Work with Sound for Picture

Pro Tools | Ultimate lets you play and edit 4K/UHD and HD video, and Avid DNxHD sequences right in the Pro Tools timeline (64 video tracks). You can create and mix soundtracks in sync with the picture. Edit audio clips with timecode precision and position them perfectly in the scene. Clean up tracks and ensure every bit of dialog, music, and sound is heard using plug-ins and automation.

Convert Audio to MIDI

Audio-to-MIDI allows you to repitch notes, play with the timing, or even change the instrument in an audio file. Just drag and drop an audio clip to an instrument or MIDI track, and Pro Tools | Ultimate analyzes and renders all pitches and timing as MIDI note data, ready to be edited or revoiced. It not only works with melodic material, but you can convert percussive and polyphonic recordings too.

Change Pitch and Time with Melodyne

The Celemony Melodyne essential plug-in makes it easy to fix bad notes, hold out good ones, tighten up grooves, or even rearrange the melody, all with natural-sounding results. Perfect vocal and instrument performances quickly, or get more creative with them, using the core toolset.

Save Tons of Time with Space Clips

For video-game sound designers, dialogue editors, and sound librarians who often import tens of thousands of audio files per project, Space Clips eliminates the mind-numbing grind and time wasted spacing clips apart before getting to work. With a single command, you can separate multiple clips on a track at equal time intervals of your choosing, quickly and easily.

Bounce Better

Whether bouncing a final mix, consolidating tracks, or printing stems, the new Bounce window enables you to work more easily than ever before. Create your own presets for frequently used workflows. Import OPAtom audio files. Plus, QuickTime capabilities are back for macOS Catalina users, enabling you to once again export MOV, MP4, M4V, and M4A (AAC) files-critical for audio post workflows.

Export Dolby Atmos ADM Files Directly

Say goodbye to all the tedious time spent bouncing Dolby Atmos mixes to ADM (Audio Definition Model) files in real time. With Pro Tools | Ultimate, you can directly export and import ADM files to and from Pro Tools in faster-than-real-time offline mode, greatly streamlining your workflow. All groups and their associated beds and objects in the mix are embedded in the file, making delivery easy.

Discover the Power of the Dark Side

Now you can choose between light and darkness to meet your visual needs or preferences. With the Dark theme, Pro Tools offers a modern look and feel that’s easier on the eyes—especially in lower light conditions. It is ideal for mood-lit studios and late-night sessions. Or for those simply looking for a sleek little change of scenery.

Bring Focus to Your Session with Folder Tracks

Take command of large sessions by organizing tracks into collapsible folders, enabling you to work more creatively and productively. Arrange, consolidate, and route tracks quickly with drag-and-drop ease. And group folders in folders and color-code them for even easier navigation.

Connect to Ableton-Link-Enabled Apps and Devices

Expand your instrument options and enable multiple music and beat makers to play along with your session. With support for Ableton Link, you can connect Pro Tools | Ultimate to a wide range of Link-enabled music creation apps, electronic instruments, and sound processors on your network—everything and everyone in perfect sync.

Collaborate in the Cloud

Avid Cloud Collaboration enables you to work with up to 10 collaborators on a project with other Pro Tools users online. Access and work on projects from anywhere using any Pro Tools | Ultimate-equipped computer.

Avid HD OMNI – Preamp, I/O, and Monitoring Pro Tools HD Series Interface

As the hub of any music studio, the HD OMNI digital audio interface from Avid can be used to record high-quality instrument and vocal performances, while providing dedicated cue mixes for artists, and monitoring their performance through a discrete mix. No need for multiple interfaces. Everything can be done within the single-space rack HD OMNI.

Overdub and Foley recording capabilities are available for post production, in addition to creating monitor mixes with up to 7.1 channels. Further, the user can fold down mixes from 7.1 to almost any channel configuration subset required.

The interface features premium analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters that deliver high audio fidelity, extensive dynamic range, super-low jitter, and the lowest possible latency. Built-in sample rate conversion and a soft clip feature allows for worry-free performance, while Curv, a built-in soft-knee limiter catches even the fastest transients.

For those occasions when the Pro Tools software doesn’t need to be launched, or even the computer turned on, the interface features a built-in, customizable, 14-input monitor mixer, allowing for the continued monitoring of external sources, such as keyboards, drum machines, and digital music players, independently from the recording setup.

The interface provides maximum performance, dependability, and control of all inputs, outputs, and routing right from the Pro Tools software interface. The interface and Pro Tools HD hardware will function with other DAW software via full support of Core Audio and ASIO drivers.

A minimum of Pro Tools HD 8.1 or higher software is required to use this interface. A free update is available for download to all registered Pro Tools HD 8.x users.
