The Strike Kit from Alesis is an eight-piece professional electronic drum kit with mesh heads that combine the feel and familiarity of acoustic drums with the versatility and capability of the best electronic drums. Featuring a sound library with 100 drum kits and over 1000 instruments, the kit can be used in rehearsals, live on stage, or with your favorite music production software in the studio.

Strike’s large dual-hoop pads with mesh heads and sensitivity-adjustment knobs use premium wood-shell drums that come in standard acoustic drum sizes (12″ snare, 8-10-12″ toms and 14″ kick), so you’ll feel at home when you sit behind them.

The cymbals – 16″ 3-zone ride, 14″ crash with choke, and 12″ hi-hat – deliver a perfect blend of feel, control, and bounce, and provide a larger bell area for enhanced playability.

Furthermore, the Strike Performance Module has on-board sampling capability, SD card storage, and USB/MIDI connectivity as well as the Strike Software Editor. Its 4.3″ color LED screen displays all your settings and choices at a quick glance. Also included are a 4-post chrome rack, snare drum stand, cable snake, cable wrap, drum key, and a pair of drum sticks.
